Hey fintech fam πŸ’œ

One word for you… WOW.

⚑ The Fintech Summit today was incredible. Thank you so much to everyone who joined us!

The best part? We are just getting started.

Tomorrow, I’ll be sitting down with leaders like Ida Liu (CEO of HSBC), Janelle Sallenave (COO of Chime), Erica Dorfman (CFO of Brex), and Denise Leonhard (GM of Zelle).

Make sure you have your tickets. And if you can’t be there in person, grab the virtual pass for $200! The Leadership Summit content will be livestreamed.

Onto today’s story, and since it’s NYFTW: I’m keeping this one short & sweet πŸ€‘

✍🏽 ON LEADERSHIP

A Leadership Lesson Internalized This Week

Some of our NYFTW partners and I at the NASDAQ tower yesterday!

I recognized something this week.

I noticed it when I was preparing my interview docs, I noticed it when I was walking around The Fintech Summit…

Fintech’s most influential and successful leaders are bold.

This may seem obvious, but remember that bold doesn’t necessarily equal brave.

Bold leaders often don’t give fear a chance to touch them. They’re moving so fast and with so much energy that everything they do stands strong.

This comes across in conversations, marketing, product development, financial choices, business outcomes… Fintech’s best leaders are bold.

You might be surprised to know that many fintech leaders don’t feel comfortable speaking on stage, even those with decades of experience and millions of dollars managed.

Yet, they’re doing it anyway. They’re stepping outside of their comfort zone, being bold, and doing what is required of them to move the industry forward.

And you can probably relate.

Maybe you aren’t speaking on stage tomorrow, but if you’re joining us, I’m sure you’ll have conversations where you pitch yourself. Share some vulnerability. Approach a leader you admire.

All of these things require you to be bold. Don’t discount that. Here are some of the bold leaders joining us on stage tomorrow (you can’t miss it - get your virtual pass here and tune in to all of tomorrow’s content):
